Google Wallet loyalty cards

A digital loyalty pass for customers who use Google Wallet.

StayLoyal creates branded Google Wallet loyalty objects for supported Android customers. They save the card from a public enrollment flow and can use eligible loyalty passes on a synced Wear OS smartwatch.

Save to Google Wallet

The enrollment handoff creates a real Wallet object rather than a static image.

Current loyalty state

Supported progress and card details can be patched when the merchant records activity.

No customer password

The public enrollment flow does not require a StayLoyal customer account.

From enrollment to return visit

The business shares its active program link or QR code. A customer completes the required enrollment details, selects Google Wallet, and follows Google's save flow.

On the next visit, staff scan the QR from the saved pass. StayLoyal loads the associated customer and program state so the staff member can choose an available action.

  • Public QR enrollment
  • A persistent customer-program pass
  • Eligible pass access on supported Wear OS watches
  • Browser scanner for staff
  • Reward state reflected in the supported Wallet layout

Google Wallet design and updates

The merchant chooses the program name, colors, reward information, and approved brand assets. StayLoyal maps those choices to Google's supported loyalty-object fields and uses neutral fallback artwork when a merchant image is not available.

Google controls the final Wallet interface and may apply platform policies or rendering changes. StayLoyal keeps its card preview aligned with supported fields, but it does not control every part of the Google Wallet application.

  • Program logo and wide logo support
  • Wallet-safe colors
  • Stamp progress imagery and text
  • Paused or archived lifecycle handling

Wallet campaigns and nearby reminders

Pro and Ultimate include targeted or scheduled Wallet campaigns, plus a review request after the first qualifying loyalty activity. Choose a whole program or selected customers, then review recipients and delivery status in Campaigns.

Link programs to your store locations for native nearby Wallet suggestions. Customer messaging preferences, Google policies, provider limits, and device settings still apply. A delivered message is not a read receipt or a guarantee of a visible phone alert.

  • Targeted and scheduled Wallet campaigns
  • First-visit Google review requests
  • Location-linked nearby suggestions
  • Wallet messaging, not SMS or email campaigns

Questions businesses ask

Clear answers before you start.

Is Google Wallet the same as a StayLoyal app?

No. Google Wallet is the destination for the customer pass on Android and eligible Wear OS watches. StayLoyal is the merchant system used to create and operate it.

Can iPhone customers join the same program?

Yes. The same StayLoyal program can offer an Apple Wallet option with its own platform layout.

Are Wallet notifications guaranteed?

No. They depend on plan access, provider acceptance, platform rules, and the customer's device behavior.

Does this integrate with a POS automatically?

No direct POS integration is claimed. Staff use StayLoyal's web scanner alongside checkout.
